Betadine Gargle and Mouthwash is a broad spectrum germicidal gargle and it provides soothing relief of dryness or minor irritation of the mouth and throat. As a mouth wash, it reduces or eliminates offensive mouth odour. It is mint-flavoured, well tolerated and does not stain the teeth.

Indications:

• For minor irritation of the mouth and throat.
• Relief and prevention of painful infection as in pharyngitis, oral monilasis, tonsilitis, aphthous ulcers, stomatitis, gingivitis, inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx.

Dosage and Directions For Use:

• Use full strength as a gargle or a mouthwash.
• Pour Betadine Gargle and Mouthwash into the cup. Dilute with an equal amount of warm water if taste is an issue.
• Swish part of the solution briefly in the mouth and spit it out.
• Tilt your head backwards and gargle for a total of 30 seconds via swirling the liquid at the throat.
• Spit out the solution.
• Repeat every 2-4 hours daily or as directed by your physician/ dentist or pharmacist.
• For oral use only. Not to be swallowed.

 

Ingredients:
Povidone-iodine 1% w/v, saccharin sodium, ethyl alcohol 96% v/v, menthol, methyl salicylate, glycerin, purified water.
